The King of Brick City returns home, Shakur Stevenson's first fight at Lightweight in Newark, N.J.

Undefeated former two-weight division World Champion Shakur Stevenson will be back in the ring on April 8th in his backyard and his birthplace of Newark New Jersey at The Prudential Center in his first fight back after moving up in weight. Stevenson (19-0, 9KOs) will take on #5 WBC unbeaten lightweight contender Shuichiro Yoshino (16-0, 12KOs) on ESPN, the hard punching Japanese and Shakur will headline a main event promoted by Top Rank Boxing where they will clash for a 12 round title eliminator. Also scheduled to fight on that night are rising stars "Big Baby" Jared Anderson and Keyshawn "The Business Man" Davis, heavy-weight knock out artist "Big Baby" (13-0, 13KOs) opponent is still to be determined as for "The Business man" is scheduled to face Emmanuel Tagoe even though Top Rank has not confirmed that opponent completely and it could change.
