NE Patriots steal of the Draft is a "High Priced!" UDFA Quarter Back.

The New England Patriots may have another Julian Edelman in their hands by drafting Malik Cunningham as a UDFA, Cunningham who is open to changing positions was acquired at a hefty price. The Patriots guaranteed Malik $200,000. a record for a Patriots undrafted free agent, the 6-foot, 200 pound QB is an undeniable talent with the ball in his hand and as a ball carrier. Cunningham said he would be open to changing positions in the NFL, a National Football League Executive told NFL Media's Tom Pelissero "I think he is a receiver. And the kid said he would do that through the process" the executive continued "Stud Of a Kid".

The Patriots converted Julian Edelman from quarterback to wide receiver after drafting him out of Kansas State in 2009 and he turned out to be one of the best playoff receivers ever. Jakobi Meyers also made the move from quarterback to wide receiver in college and left the New England for Las Vegas at a high priced deal this off season in free agency. The Patriots currently have a former QB converted to receiver on their roster in Lynn Bowden also so lets see if we will see another Quarter Back in Foxborough or another convert to the mix in the wide receiver stable.
